55f0738f16 Add StateLocation & GenericStateLocation to StandardLocation
The latest XDG spec (0.8) defines XDG_STATE_HOME that does not exist
in QStandardPaths::StandardLocation.

Some Linux distributions clean XDG_CACHE_HOME on restart which makes
XDG_STATE_HOME useful as a path for saving application state.

This commit adds StateLocation and GenericStateLocation to serve as a
StandardLocation for XDG_STATE_HOME for all platforms.

This commit also updates docs and tests to fit the new changes.

GenericStateLocation to StandardLocation

ee515dd842 QStandardPaths/Unix: fix logic in xdgDataDirs() function
This method correctly ignores relative paths (as per the XDG basedir
spec), but checking the list of dirs is empty should be moved to after
splitting the env var, because even if the env var is not empty, if the
paths in it are all relative the resulting list will be empty.

Drive-by change: Split some code to a static helper, which will be
used in xdgConfigDirs() too.

1c6bf3e09e Port from container::count() and length() to size() - V5
This is a semantic patch using ClangTidyTransformator as in
qtbase/df9d882d41b741fef7c5beeddb0abe9d904443d8, but extended to
handle typedefs and accesses through pointers, too:

    const std::string o = "object";

    auto hasTypeIgnoringPointer = [](auto type) { return anyOf(hasType(type), hasType(pointsTo(type))); };

    auto derivedFromAnyOfClasses = [&](ArrayRef<StringRef> classes) {
        auto exprOfDeclaredType = [&](auto decl) {
            return expr(hasTypeIgnoringPointer(hasUnqualifiedDesugaredType(recordType(hasDeclaration(decl))))).bind(o);
        };
        return exprOfDeclaredType(cxxRecordDecl(isSameOrDerivedFrom(hasAnyName(classes))));
    };

    auto renameMethod = [&] (ArrayRef<StringRef> classes,
                            StringRef from, StringRef to) {
        return makeRule(cxxMemberCallExpr(on(derivedFromAnyOfClasses(classes)),
                            callee(cxxMethodDecl(hasName(from), parameterCountIs(0)))),
                        changeTo(cat(access(o, cat(to)), "()")),
                        cat("use '", to, "' instead of '", from, "'"));
    };

    renameMethod(<classes>, "count", "size");
    renameMethod(<classes>, "length", "size");

except that the on() matcher has been replaced by one that doesn't
ignoreParens().

a.k.a qt-port-to-std-compatible-api V5 with config Scope: 'Container'.

Added two NOLINTNEXTLINEs in tst_qbitarray and tst_qcontiguouscache,
to avoid porting calls that explicitly test count().

68c4669ce4 Add PublicShare and Templates QStandardPaths
These directories are common on desktop operating systems. "Public" is
used for sharing files with other users and "Templates" lets you add new
files to the file creation desktop menu (for example in a file
manager). An example use in a Qt application would be KDE's KIO having
default icons for both directories.
This is where they point to:
Windows: C:/Users/Public, C:/Users/<USER>/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Templates
macOS: ~/Public, ~/Templates

68de00e0d4 QStandardPaths: Don't change permissions of XDG_RUNTIME_DIR
Conform to the XDG Base Directory Specification:
"If, when attempting to write a file, the destination directory
is non-existent an attempt should be made to create it with
permission 0700. If the destination directory exists already
the permissions should not be changed."

At the same time the spec states about XDG_RUNTIME_DIR that
"its Unix access mode MUST be 0700", so don't consider the
directory with wrong permissions correct and use a fallback.

ad5a65b6a2 QStandardPaths/Unix: improve the XDG_RUNTIME_DIR creation/detection
First, use QT_MKDIR instead of QFileSystemEngine::createDirectory(), as
the latter can't create a directory with the right permissions. That
would allow an attacker to briefly obtain access to the runtime dir
between the mkdir() and chmod() system calls.

Second, make sure that if the target already exists that it is a
directory and not a symlink (even to a directory). If it is a symlink
that belongs to another user, it can be changed to point to another
place, which we won't like.

And as a bonus, we're printing more information to the user in case
something went wrong. Sample outputs:

 QStandardPaths: runtime directory '/root' is not owned by UID 1000, but a directory permissions 0700 owned by UID 0 GID 0

 QStandardPaths: runtime directory '/dev/null' is not a directory, but a character device, socket or FIFO permissions 0666 owned by UID 0 GID 0

 QStandardPaths: runtime directory '/etc/passwd' is not a directory, but a regular file permissions 0644 owned by UID 0 GID 0

 QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-tjmaciei'
 QStandardPaths: runtime directory '/tmp/runtime-tjmaciei' is not a directory, but a symbolic link to a directory permissions 0755 owned by UID 1000 GID 100

4628351c3f QStandardPaths: don't build a QHash just to look up one key
The code parses a file, looking for XDG_*_DIR entries and stores each
one's key and raw value in a QHash. After parsing, it, however, looked
up exactly once, by a key it could have known all along.

So, move the key computation before the opening of the file, and look
for the correct key directly, consciously striving to continue to
find, as the old code implicitly did, the last entry, since man 5
user-dirs.dirs explains:

> The format of user-dirs.dirs is designed to allow direct sourcing of
> this file in shell scripts.

Which means last one wins.

Port to QStringView API of QRegularExpression, too.

for application-specific configuration directory. ConfigLocation was inconsistent.

d0ed6dc146 Report the system error on why chmod(2) failed in XDG_RUNTIME_DIR
This is a very rare occurrence: if the user is the owner of the
directory, the user can chmod(2), and we already checked that the user
is the owner. However, chmod(2) can still fail on read-only fs and on
hardened systems.

Since the current user is the owner of the dir, we'll get 0x7700 as

an unnecessary chmod.

f3bc9f5c5c Add locations AppDataLocation, AppLocalDataLocation to QStandardPaths.
On Windows, DataLocation currently returns the value obtained by
passing CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA to SHGetSpecialFolderPath(). This is
the local non-roaming path. For actually storing settings, the roaming
path should be used (CSIDL_APPDATA). Introduce new AppDataLocation to
return that path and AppLocalDataLocation for the local path and deprecate
DataLocation.

[ChangeLog][QtCore][QStandardPaths] QStandardPaths now has new
enumeration values AppDataLocation, AppLocalDataLocation to be able
to differentiate between roaming and local paths on the Windows
operating system. DataLocation is deprecated in favor of AppDataLocation.

5c9d671bfb QStandardPaths: fix empty path in XDG_DATA_DIRS being treated as '/'.
The basedir xdg spec says:
"All paths set in these environment variables must be absolute.
If an implementation encounters a relative path in any of these variables it
should consider the path invalid and ignore it."
Therefore we ignore relative paths including the empty string.

44d48862c0 QStandardPaths: add GenericConfigLocation
This is what ConfigLocation was meant to be. A directory shared by all
applications. Unfortunately when I wrote the fallback on Windows,
I picked DataLocation (which is app-specific) instead of
GenericDataLocation (which is shared between apps). This makes it
impossible to have config files shared between apps, e.g. for libraries.
It also makes ConfigLocation quite inconsistent (on Windows one cannot
use it to load another app's config file, while it works everywhere else).

All this is fixed by GenericConfigLocation, which is shared between apps.

9deacd7f20 Normalise and deduplicate paths for XDG_DATA_DIRS
This removes the trailing slashes from the path and then removes dirs
set twice in XDG_DATA_DIRS (always removes those from the right side).

There's no use for duplicit dirs in XDG_DATA_DIRS because if whatever is
being looked up is not found in the duplicated dir the first time, it
won't be there the second time.

Currently it causes troubles for example in mime types, where it returns
duplicated mime types as the same dir is searched multiple times.

For obtaining the original value of XDG_DATA_DIRS, one can use
qgetenv("XDG_DATA_DIRS").
